Please read through our entire site and learn about who we are and the dogs we breed. If you find a litter that suits what you are looking for and you understand the proper care and commitment a puppy will need, you are then ready to take the next step.
Fill out our online Application
Once you’ve decided you would like to reserve a puppy from a specific current or upcoming litter, the next step is to fill out our Application. Our Application is meant to simply asking questions to ensure that our puppies are a proper match for your family. This will also help you to understand whether or not you are prepared for puppy ownership. Dog ownership is a big commitment and as responsible breeders, we ensure to provide each of our puppies with a loving forever home. After submitting your application please allow us 24-48 to reply back to you via email. At that time we will discuss more information about the adoption process after answering any and all questions you may have.
Pay your retainer and sign our puppy contract
Once we have confidence that you will provide a good home for one of our puppies, you will pay a retainer and sign our puppy contract to hold your puppy. Retainers are non-refundable but we will transfer them to another litter of your choice should timing not work with your schedule or you don’t want to reserve a puppy from the litter you chose to get a puppy from for whatever reason. Prices at the time of reservation are always honored. On the day of pickup, payment is required to be made in full in order to receive your puppy. All sales are final. If you prefer to wait until the puppy is 8 weeks of age to pay in full at the time of pickup without a retainer that is fine as well but we cannot reserve a specific puppy without a retainer and signed contract.
Wait for the arrival of your puppy
If you have reserved a puppy from a litter that is already born, continue to watch for new photos and videos! We love that you are here getting to know our process and understand our program more so when you are ready for your puppy you are comfortable and confident in us. We update you with photos of the pup each week to share their growth and journey of new life. We suggest this waiting time should be spent preparing your house for the new arrival. Read lots of training material and get your house completely puppy proofed. The more prepared you are, the more you will enjoy the puppy experience. We also have Puppy Preparation for our clients. We do our best to provide as much knowledge as possible to our clients.
Picking up your puppy
Gotcha Day, as we call puppy pick up, is always super exciting! It is also an enjoyable experience for us as your breeder to see you leave with a puppy who will become a family friend and companion for years to come! We will schedule a date and time for pickup. Each litter needs to be at least eight weeks old before going to their new home. As covered in the FAQs page, we schedule clients to pick their puppy in the order of retainer the day they are ready for their new home. After picking up your puppy, we will then go over all the paperwork including the puppy’s vet certification/health record, health guarantee, proper pedigree, etc. We will then take the time to answer any further questions you have prior to leaving with your new addition!
*Puppy shipping information
We ship puppies all over so please do not allow distance to deter you from submitting an Application for one of our puppies. We will still honor your picking position and allow you to choose your puppy in the sequence of retainers received. We ensure that you get the puppy you are looking for. Once your puppy choice has been made, we will then arrange a shipping date. Total costs for shipping and the puppy will be finalized and payment will be made. Tennessee Mountain takes care of booking the shipment and everything. All you will need to do is show up at the airport to receive the puppy at the time of arrival. Shipping costs can vary if a flight nanny is required by TMK. Please inquire for specific pricing and information.
